Restart Racing has confirmed Dan Lloyd will join the team for the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season alongside Chris Smiley. Lloyd returns to the Hyundai i30 N Fastback having previously driven it in the 2022 season, and is set to begin testing in the coming months.
Dan Lloyd said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be back on the BTCC grid with Restart Racing. The last 12 months have been a rollercoaster – I’ve had to fight harder than ever to get back to this point, but that’s only made me hungrier.”
Team Principal, Ben Taylor, commented: “I’ve worked with Dan before, and I know the level of professionalism and skill he brings to a team. His experience in the Hyundai and his ability to deliver results under pressure make him a great addition to Restart Racing. We’re building something really special here, and Dan is going to be a key part of that.”
