Bradley Ray maintained his position at the top of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship times in the second session of the R&G Official Test at Oulton Park as the Raceways Yamaha rider held off Leon Haslam by 0.727s.
Haslam had fired the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing team to the top of the times in the second half of the session, but Ray was soon back on the attack and he moved back to the top in the closing ten minutes of the session.
Glenn Irwin climbed to third on the Hager PBM Ducati, putting him just ahead of defending champion Kyle Ryde on the OMG Nitrous Competitions Racing Yamaha and Josh Brookes on the DAO Racing Honda who completed the top five.
Charlie Nesbitt led the MasterMac Honda riders in sixth place ahead of Danny Kent and Christian Iddon. Lee Jackson split the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki teammates in ninth place as Max Cook rounded out the top ten.
