Four finalists have been selected to progress to a winner-takes-all Ginetta Race Scholarship shootout at Bedford Autodrome next Thursday (12 December), after an initial two-day PalmerSport assessment earlier this week.
Following a further, even more intensive evaluation, the ultimate winner will leave Bedford Autodrome with a guaranteed race seat for 2025.

For a second year in succession, the depth of undiscovered talent within PalmerSport’s customer base has impressed all involved. And this time we’re delighted to offer an expanded line-up of four prospective racers the opportunity to stake their claim to a season in the 2025 Ginetta GT Academy.
The shootout format on Thursday will include laps in the PalmerSport Ginetta alongside the venue's most senior instructors, after which the final two contenders will be selected. This will be followed by laps in the Ginetta race car itself to determine the ultimate winner. The final two will also receive a fully paid ARDS race licence test, which will take place at one of MSV’s race circuits later on.
Just one driver will walk away with the main prize, however, valued at around £100,000 plus VAT. This incredible package includes use of a PalmerSport branded Ginetta G56 GTA race car for all GT Academy race weekends across next season, with full Ginetta mechanical and technical support. Additional benefits will include coaching, storage and preparation, a Ginetta branded race suit and full VIP Ginetta hospitality for the winner and two guests at each round.
The 2025 Ginetta GT Academy will include rounds at Donington Park, Silverstone, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Brands Hatch across six race events, running on the prestigious British GT Championship package. The PalmerSport entry will be run by the factory Ginetta team.
The winning contestant will make their competitive debut on Donington Park’s Grand Prix circuit on 5/6 April.
