Falling right in the middle of the school holidays, this is one of our biggest family events of the season, with supersized action from the British Truck Racing Championship and the International Truck Prix. The latter celebrates 40 years since the first truck race in the UK took place, at Donington Park in 1984, and motorcycle legend John McGuinness is among the guest stars on the entry list!
Four headline races on each day from the biggest racing vehicles in motorsport will ensure plenty of heavyweight entertainment. There’s a stacked support race package too, including Pickup Trucks, MINI Challenge Clubsport plus sports cars and tin tops from the British Endurance Championship, Britcar Trophy and the MG Owners Club Championship, with 20 races in total across the two days.
There’s so much more than the racing though! The Live Action Arena will feature truck drifting, a caravan smash and plenty more surprises. Meanwhile hundreds of trucks are expected to go on show on the infield alongside manufacturer displays and one-off exhibits, while live music, roaming dinosaurs, a kids’ zone and much more will all add to the festival feel.
